All eyes should be on the US

The Dow fell two and a half percent on Wednesday night, and in the same session the NASDAQ dropped three, and the S&P500 dropped a might over 2.8%.

Are the traditional October wobbles here a bit early this year to spread the traditional pre-Christmas uncertainty? Quite possibly. No chart today, just be ready.

Don’t forget that the US still has the second round of subprime mortgage defaults to come in between late Sept and December too, and it’s worth around $40 billion.
